INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Please adhere to the duration of your presentation.

√   PLENARY: 40 min + 5 min for questions

√   KEYNOTE: 25 min + 5 min for questions

√   INVITED: 17 min + 3 min for questions

√   ORAL: 12 min + 3 min for questions

√   FLASH: 5 min


Below, you will find useful information to prepare your presentation. To ensure a smooth transition between presentations, we kindly ask authors to consider the following:

Authors

  1. Personal laptops are not permitted.

  2. Bring your presentation to the Rockefeller Hall at least 2 hours before your scheduled time. Use a USB Memory stick. A technician at the Rockefeller Hall will check the presentation with you, especially videos. Technical assistance will be available in each conference room to start presentations, but they are not allowed to upload presentations in the conference room.

  3. Prepare your presentation in PowerPoint or pdf format. The preferred page setup is landscape orientation; portrait orientation may not display correctly. All videos should be embedded in your presentation.

  4. Session chairs will hold a meeting immediately before the session starts with all speakers. You are requested to direct to the chair and introduce yourself if necessary. Session chairs are instructed to strictly adhere to the schedule.

  5. Important note for Mac and Apple users: Convert your presentation to PowerPoint format and use common fonts, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. Insert the images as JPG files. Preferred video format is MP4.
