Entrepreneurship skills course - 3 ECTS

Entrepreneurship and enterprise innovation have become one of the main economic engines of the developed societies, because of their capacity to generate employment and contribute to the economic growth of the regions. To start an entrepreneurial activity it is necessary to have a series of technical, but also personal and relational skills. In this line, the main objectives of this course are to approach in a practical way the analysis of personal, technical, economic and motivational needs for the creation of companies and the strategic plan, as well as the tools (especially digital ones) available for its start-up. To achieve it, among the contents on which we will work during the different sessions of the course, are highlighted those related to creativity, the agile methodologies (Canvas, Lean), the development of relations with clients, techniques to sell a business project, strategies for commercial actions as well as the necessary financial and legal tolls to face business creation. Visits will be made to companies of entrepreneurs in the region to learn first-hand from the experience, opinion and work of true entrepreneurs. Access to the syllabus

Taught by:

Fernando Crecente

Degree in Business Administration and Management and Actuarial and Financial Sciences and Doctor in Business Sciences at the University of Alcalá (extraordinary award in both). Director of the School of Entrepreneurship of the University of Alcalá. Lecturer of the Department of Economics and Business Management and Researcher at the University Institute of Economic and Social Analysis (IAES).  His basic lines of research are focused on entrepreneurial activity, fundamentally in the analysis of the financing of entrepreneurial SMEs, the financial economy and the processes of change and business dynamics of small and medium companies.
