In addition to the bus services provided by the conference organisation, it is possible to arrive at the University campus (where the conference will be held on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) by public transport:
By local bus service:
Alcalá de Henares has an extensive network of regular bus services. Of these, bus line 2 directly connects the centre of the city with the University campus (frequency: every 10-15 minutes). The service to the university campus has the destination Hospital/Universidad with the final stop being the venue for the conference (see line). There are various bus stops along Vía Complutense or a further stop can be found in Calle Sebastián de la Plaza close to the Estación de servicio San Isidro (petrol station). The journey takes around 10-15 minutes and tickets can be purchased on board the buses in cash.
The return journey can also be made using the same bus line which starts from outside the conference venue (see line). In this case the destination is Puerta de Santa Ana and again the bus makes stops in Calle Sebastián de la Plaza and several along Vía Complutense.
You can see the bus lines map of the line in this link
