International Society of Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids (IS3NA)
If you are a PhD student or early Postdoc researcher (up to 5 years from PhD defense date), and would like to apply for a travel grant, please take note of the following:
2 grants, each with up to a total value of 500 euros (before taxes), will be granted to eligible candidates who present their research findings at the RANN XIII meeting. Applications are welcome until September 17th.
To submit an application, please send an email to Technical Secretariat (rann2024@fgua.es) with the subject IS3NA grant -name of applicant, and attaching a copy of the submitted abstract.

After careful consideration of all applicants, the grant committee for RANN XIII Meeting is pleased to communicate the names of the awardees of the IS3NA travel grants.
- Daniela Benigno, from University of Naples Federico II, Department of Pharmacy, Italy. Aptamer-Drug Conjugates for a Targeted and Synergistic Anticancer Response: Exploiting T30923-5-fluoro-2’-deoxyuridine (INT-FdU) Derivatives
- Sergio López-Nuñez, from Universidad Católica de Valencia, Spain. Structural Characterization of the 3' Untranslated Region of the SARS-CoV-2 RNA Genome
The committee was very impressed by the scientific quality of the abstracts submitted by the applicants. Unfortunately, we had a limited budget assigned to these travel grants.
We thank all applicants for their interest. We are thrilled that talented young researchers will be joining us at RANN XIII Meeting and we are looking forward to their presentations.
Madrid Section of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry (STMad-RSEQ)
If you are a PhD student, member of the STMad-RSEQ, and would like to apply for a registration grant, please take note of the following:
A total of 2 grants, each with a value of 175 euros, will be granted to eligible student members of the STMad-RSEQ who present their research findings at the RANN XIII. The application window will remain open from July 24th to September 13th.
