The II International workshop 'MULTIPALEOIBERIA: Population dynamics and cultural adaptations of the last Neandertals and first Modern Humans in inland Iberia: recent advances and new prospects in 2025' is the closing meeting of the MULTIPALEOIBERIA project, funded as a Starting Grant by the European Research Council. The workshop will be held May 27-29th in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid, Spain), and will bring together scientists working on Palaeolithic Archaeology, Quaternary sciences and related fields from different countries.
During 3 days, the team members, collaborators and research participants of MULTIPALEOIBERIA will present and discuss the project results and advances, as well as the future research. More than 60 scholars, both within and beyond the project network, have been invited and will present unprecedent data for moving forward on how the last Neandertals and first Modern humans interacted with the challenging environments of the Iberian hinterlands.
