(Colegio Convento of the Míninosde of San Francisco) The Colegio-Convento of the Míninos of San Francisco de Paula in Alcalá de Henares has its origins in the mid-16thcentury, founded in 1567 on land donated by Bartolomé Santoyo. The church was built between 1580 and 1593, and later a two-storey cloister was added. After the the disentailment (desamortización) of the 19th century, the building became a military hospital. In 1976 the University of Alcalá acquired it, and from 1980 it has housed the Faculty of Economic, Business and Tourism Sciences.
